Festive Wrapping Ideas…

For all you organised folk who have had your Christmas presents wrapped a stored away for safe keeping since September then this blog post need not apply but for the rest of us, yes it’s Christmas THIS WEEK! And if like a lot of people you are a member of the ‘leave things to the last minute’ group then your haphazard nature could just pay off as we present you with some fun ideas for wrapping with a difference. Rather than using the standard Santa adorned wrapping paper why not try one of these present decoration ideas to make your gifts extra special and really stand out from under the tree this year.

A Twist on Tradition
Why not select your favourite festive wrapping paper and rather than decorating it with the usual ribbon and paper tag, tie some festive bunting around it instead.

Rustic Elegance
Grab some brown kraft paper, a luggage tag, string or raffia and some sprigs of your favourite festive berries and you’ve got yourself all the elements needed to transform your present into something beautiful. You could try Cinnamon Sticks, Orange Slices, Holly, Cranberries or even some fir from your tree, this will not only look amazing but the scents of Christmas will also fill your nostrils on Christmas morning.

The Personal Touch – this one is our favourite.
Have your little ones don their apron, get out the paints and let them unleash their creative side across sheets of tissue paper. Their festive paintings can then be used to wrap the grandparent’s gifts. For a really personal touch you can try creating masterpieces using your little ones hands and feet, which can double up as a present in itself in the form of a memorable keepsake.
